The U47 FET’s have been purchased by Eli van Tijn, the founder of Artisound. It is hard to say on which records the FET’s have been used, I only know that they were studio favorites for recording certain types of vocals and for recording instruments.
Service details
All microphones including power supplies have been tested and cleaned every several years by Gonzo Audio in the Netherlands. From all available repair and service logs I can see that all the FET’s are completely original besides some of the 4 (it is unclear which from the logs) have received new Allen Screws. Further they are in great condition and working beautifully.
