The U89i was originally purchased by Eric van Tijn at Soundwise. It is unclear on which recordings it might have appeared. However, it has been used dearly and for multiple purposes.
Service details
All microphones including power supplies have been tested and cleaned every several years by Gonzo Audio in the Netherlands. From all available repair and service logs I can see that it has been cleaned and tested regularly and received a SG389 swivel mount (as included in the sale) later on.
